Privacy notice for ‘EPSRC PEAs in Pods: Co-production Of Community Based Public Engagement For Data And AI Research’ Optional Training Usage Surveys
This notice explains who we are, how and why we collect and use personal information about you, what personal information we may hold, our lawful bases for processing, who we share your information with, relevant retention periods, and how you can exercise your data subject rights.
Manchester Metropolitan University was awarded funding from UKRI Engineering and Physical Sciences Research Council (Grant Ref: EP/W033488/1) for the PEAs in Pods: Co-production Of Community Based Public Engagement For Data And AI Research project. As part of this project, we developed a training programme for Public Engagement Ambassadors which is freely available to download from this website. We wish to track the reach of the training programme, how it is used and obtain feedback. Completion of the Download Survey is optional.
Who we are
Manchester Metropolitan University is registered as a Controller with the Information Commissioner’s Office (ICO). We manage personal data in accordance with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and the University’s Data Protection Policy.
What personal data is captured
If you decide to complete the optional Download Survey will be asked to provide your email address in addition to your survey responses. Your email address is mandatory. In addition, you will be asked to opt-in to a further Feedback Survey which will be sent to you via your email address within 4 months.
The Lawful basis for the processing
Our lawful basis under article 6 of GDPR is (a) consent.
The retention of your information
The University retains your personal data (email address) for a maximum of five years.
